Unsung Heroes Cello Ensemble Workshops

I want the experience to be enjoyable, immersive and enriching for you as a cellist and as a musician. Unsung Heroes Cello Ensemble is always inclusive; whether you’ve been playing for a year or several decades, playing my arrangements of choral music, means there is a part for you to play. Students receive the music beforehand and we explore both the composer and their times, so you can align with them more, and we explore the technique too that the music hands us. Students leave the workshop with notes so you can evolve and grow at your own pace afterwards.

TAI CHI

Tai Chi and Qi Gong

Spend an hour a week moving your body in a slow gentle and nourishing way. Tai Chi and Qi Gong are slow and gentle movements which don't leave you breathless, but they address the key components of fitness—muscle strength, flexibility, balance, and whole-body conditioning. This way of moving allows your body’s inherent wisdom to come to the forefront and guide you in developing a more comfortable body as you grow older.

These are regular weekly teaching classes where you will learn how to move better, release habitual tension, strengthen your joints, and build a vibrant connected body and mind.

Brian qualified as a Tai Chi instructor with the Lineage Grand Master, Bruce Frantzis and is a certified instructor with The Tai Chi Union of Great Britain. He has practiced Tai Chi and Qi Gong for 30 years and has been teaching in Kent and East Sussex for over 20 years.
