The Cliffe Hall was purpose built in 1989 to provide space for a wide range of community activities. It is owned by The Cliffe Feoffees, a small charity granted in 1603 to support repairs to the St Thomas a Becket Church and to support people in need in The Cliffe Parish—the area was recently widened to be able to support people anywhere in Lewes.

The Hall sits in the middle of a peaceful residential precinct behind the ancient St Thomas a Becket Church, near the East end of Cliffe High Street—an attractive, bustling and historic area of Lewes. Yet, just two minutes walk away from the Hall, you can climb Chapel Hill and enjoy the beauty of the soft rolling hills of the South Downs. See Location for details of the area, parking, travel and directions.
